NAJDA KHAN
I am an ardently proactive Kenyan who is passionate about the empowerment, mentorship, education and support of women and youth.
I choose to empower people by speaking out about the tribulations that I passed through from a very young age i.e. bullying, my parents’ divorce and what that meant for me, my marriage and divorce from an abusive relationship, infertility, charting my own career path and all the glass ceilings I have had to break as a strong minded and fierce African Muslim woman.
I am an accomplished executive with domestic and regional experience as a Human Resource Executive. I am currently working on establishing the use of gamification tools to to recognise and engage employees to demonstrate encouraging and motivated behaviours.
I am extremely passionate about Sustainability and as a result I am a goal ambassador for the implementation of the UN SDGs locally for women and youth with a focus on young entrepreneurs.
An aggressively passionate foodie and of the Kenyan dining scene in particular! She blogs on Instagram by reporting the pros and cons of local establishment’s-@FoodReport254. She loves to cook like her life depends on it!
A producer, host of my show The Big Fat Talk Show with Najda, a passionate foodie, an SDG goal ambassador, and a senior Human Resource specialist and a marketing partner for WECA region in Africa, are just a few hats I wear.
